These are the colors I usually use for rainbows. A lot of other people also include pink in their rainbows, which I don't really care for.
It's also possible that the last one you saw was just in different light. Metal is difficult to photograph consistently, and the colors tend to appear slightly different depending on whether you're using natural light or incandescents or fluorescents.
