For an assignment at school, we had to come up with three characters to colour/paint. Initially this shark character started out as a bird but the more I looked at the bird design, the less I liked it for my assignment. Female characters seem to always be flimsy animals like birds or cats or rabbits so I decided to go with a shark for this character. I am very happy that I chose a shark!
This is also one of my first attempts to work in a lineless style - I am very pleased with the result despite the process being quite time consuming.
I haven't thought of a name for her yet, but I'm starting to think Penelope (or just Penny) suits her. I will keep humming and hawing, though.

I love doing lineless work. It's too bad that a lot of my usual work is so detailed that lineless work would be superduper time consuming. I also did lineless work over here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10059077/
It's really fun, though. <3
