Although is there a way to work out the clothing to where it has more color to it and it's not so tacked or grafted on her to where it can move and has some life to it?

mmmm if youre asking for wrinkles, the issue with thoose is that they.. require a much higher vertexcount, and that would spike the cloth simulation- and render time. it does move dont worry, but just not as much has you might hope. so its more or less a technical thing
