I know I already commented on your page, but I just listened to this (twice!) and had to comment here, too. Thank you so much for this song, it reminds me that I need to stay true to myself even when it looks like I shouldn't. Oftentimes I have to try to blend in with the crowd due to some problems I have, and it only leads to awkwardness in the end when I make a mistake. Luckily, I have my girlfriend to cheer me on, and I can be myself around her at all times. Thank you again. :)

I want to answer all the comments here thanking people for all the kindness in their feedback. I am blown away by the reception this cover has gotten so far. I feel so relieved, I was so nervous about this one but I loved singing it my own way. I am so glad that the emotion I put in this has been a success. Thank you Fox for asking me to do this with you and congratulations on another splendid "backing" piece (I always use the term loosely as it seems a bit modest!).

Beautiful song! They lyrics and the artwork go so well together, and the lyrics are short, sweet, and to the point! Really emotional piece! If only people would always be themselves around others, instead of having to mask themselves with false appearances just to please others. Their true self is always much more beautiful and meaningful, let alone truthful, and that's what establishes lasting relationships! Excellent work!
