Damn, finally someone who can do a proper swordsmanship pose right! It looks really good. You got the legs and footwork right, which is not easy, and the position of the arm. These are subtle and not that easy to get right.
Though, the hand back during a lunge was something from modern fencing were it became illegal to grab the opponent's blade. In classical fencing treaties, you'd keep your hand near your face when lunging so you could deflect your opponent's blade if need be. Extra thick gloves were worn for this purpose, or a dagger was used with a hilt that let you capture your opponent's blade.
