The equipment guy at the airport dropped me an E-Mail today, my new rig was in! This is the house a parachute lives in. Or a fancy $3000 backpack. Depending on how you look at it. This doesn't actually have parachute canopies in it yet, it's just the rig. I'm still looking at a month or two to get the canopies for it.

Yeah, they have a bunch of them on the rental rack at the home DZ and I like 'em. They have some Vectors too, and the student Vectors do tend to be a bit more comfortable than the rental mirages but you can have a baby faster than you can get a Vector. Plus this G4 is made to my specific measurements and has some extra padding. I tried it on to make sure it fits and I'm pretty sure it's going to be the most comfortable rig I've worn so far. Can't wait to do a high pull from 12K and sit in brakes the whole way down to see how I can handle 12-13 minutes under canopy :-D
My first several jumps, once I put canopies in it, are probably going to be high pulls, so I can get a feel for how the canopies I've picked out will fly. I can't wait *bounce* *bounce*
