Disclaimer: Yes, I know about the asymmetrical eyes. I didn't notice it until I started taking pictures. BUUH fixing symmetry is the WOORRSSTTT
For those of you just joining us: This is a sculpt for a kigurumi-style dragon of my character Mirepoix. It will be cast in resin and have hair 'n stuff. This is the second time I've made this and it's WAY better than the first one.
Since my posting on the fursuiting livejournal, I changed the nostrils and fixed a lot of symmetry issues. I also brought the front of the snout more forward giving her nose a more angled look. I moved the back of the mask closer towards my crown so I will have more of a surface to attach horns, ears and hair to.
I still have no fudging idea how I'm going to resolve the inside of the mouth. To teeth or not to teeth? Getting plasticine smooth is impossible, so I plan on doing a lot of sanding. I want to experiment with microballoon filler to see if that will make resin sand easier.
So yeah! I'm a little sleep deprived at the moment, but I can answer questions today or tomorrow I guess. She looks better with eyelids and lashes put in, but I forgot to put them in for takin' pictures.

Looking good. Symmetry is indeed challenging but a good thing to give attention to. However don't stress about 100% perfect symmetry, as long as you get it close enough that flaws are only noticed under extreme scrutiny it'll be fine, because naturally even our own human faces are not perfectly symmetrical. You're probably almost near that point since I didn't notice anything off about the eyes until reading the description..
As for teeth.. Depending on how you intend to make them it could look better than no teeth.

I suggest if you do decide to keep working on it to step away from it for a while & then look at it to see if you missed anything while you were so engrossed in it. Also yeah I suggest keep taking pictures of it because it might easier to notice things about Mirepoix via photos. Keep up the great work!
