Little Tales - Gen Plays World of Tanks
Normally I don't print comics the day I release them, but since this comic was a commission I'm making an exception.
Paladin decided he was going to show me his Maus tank. I figured 'mouse' and thus it would be a little tank. Instead he rolls up in a big bohunkin thing that exploded me by sneezing on me.
Comics was scripted and laid out by Paladin. I hope I did his idea justice.

yeah.. the Ratte. a thousand tons of armor, weapons, and engine, packing a turret and guns designed for heavy naval cruisers, mounting the turrets and guns of a pair of maus' as backup/defensive weapons, and carrying enough anti-aircraft guns to put a dent into entire squadrons... one of the crazier ideas they had, and never built, but notable for distilling Awesome into tank form..
well it would have been excelent in japan if it had more armor Im not sure itd fit on a LCVP though due to the length it would have to have been a later lander on one of the larger landing ships but the traction would have been great in the beaches and whatnot not sure if the engine could have pushed it up a hill though
Transportation ease? In Burma? Surely you jest.
There was nothing about that campaign on the Brit side that was easy, just read Field Marshal Slim's account of it. And, unlike a lot of people writing about their own campaigns, he does not hesitate to let himself have it when it's deserved. Makes no mention of that fallout with Leese though..

I know. Not to mention the fact TOG would have had worse GPM than most modern tanks me thinks..And that's assuming the darn thing doesn't have the legendary British reliability..
But, and this is a big but, if they could have gotten it there, it might have been useful. Certainly the Japs didn't have anything that could stop it short of a direct hit from a six inch artillery piece or something.
