Really? I only heard it a few times on our alternative station. Their other song got a lot of airplay... the... copacetic song... whatever it was called.

Heh, that was the nickname for that one 'cause they used that line so much. The name was "Bound for the Floor". "All The Kids Are Right" was off the CD after that(which amusingly was named "Pack Up The Cats", dang you furry influencing before I was a furry). It wasn't nearly as much of an alt song than a rock tune. Those days were me sittin' on the bed workin' on schoolwork and crankin' Q106. Ah, the good ol' days. And it's funny you mention alternative stations... I think at least 3-4 lived, were gotten attached to, and then would die. Turn on the radio, hear classic rock or even soft rock pop on and go "noooooo... my station..."

Heh. We've got a locally owned alternative station here that's been around for over 20 years now. It's pretty cool. They cater to the artsy-fartsy types & stuff. Although, I've had plenty of other great stations just vanish & go country on me over the years.

guess to make it more kid friendly, we had these sweet sticks called spaceman candy that were white with red tips. So they looked like cigarettes.
Changed now so kids won't copy the adults with the red tip removed :0

Candy cigarettes used to be called just that and even came in 'lil cigarette cartons. They were good if you liked flavored chalk.

Well, Bart usually has his hair when they do those future episodes. Maybe it skips a generation. I dunno if Marge's father has ever been shown on the series now that I think of it.

Good point! Though truthfully I stopped watching around season 8.

Clancy Bouvier did show up in an early episode that showed how Marge and Homer fell in love (ironically by not going to the prom together!) and he's balding, though not nearly as badly as Homer. Bart lucked out, it seems. :)

I still watch the show, just not as religiously as i did like 10 years ago.
