I've been calling my deer character, Raine, "Sam" a lot lately so now he's been renamed to Sam. Haha. It would've been terrible, anyways, to keep calling him "Raine Deer". It worked fine before because he used to be a kitsune, but it's pretty clear that things have changed over time.

Anyways, my sister's character, Aden, is telling a young Sam some terrifying ghost stories while they're out camping. The glowing eyes in the background are Sam's imagination running wild. Are those creatures of the night really there? Or is his imagination running rampant? It's up to you to decide how you'd like to interpret the picture. I know my imagination goes absolutely haywire after I've watched a horror flick (although I haven't seen one in a long time).

This was another "assignment" for my Digital Painting / Colour and Media class. Our assignment was basically just to draw and paint more characters in whatever style we wanted. I learned a lot about colouring and lighting while working on this picture. I can't wait to push the envelope for future pictures with what I've learned. :>
