Digital Collage Series
This is half of my final assignment for my course in Color Theory. Assigned to work with our knowledge of color to create nonrepresentational and vaguely representational images using pieces of painted swatches created in real media.
These images were made from scans of originally painted swatches of random color, and then composed in Photoshop CS4, using its specific advantages to create subtle shifts in hue, shade, etc., that could not be obtained using un-modified swatches of color alone.
My classmates and I shared our various swatches between each other, and was permissible by the teacher; as such, I cannot claim many of the original pieces of color to be my own, though the compositions and alterations are.
The physical collage series will be short in coming. Enjoy!
