Oh boy.... a week off from class, free time and I of course waste it. On the one hand I barely learn for exams, because I have such difficulties motivating myself for it. On the other hand I don't really draw.... and if then it's mostly my comic, which I can't upload because I want to only start upload once I got the entire chapter ready to guarantee a weekly upload pace. SOOOO with all of that I did get a little mad about myself not doing a thing and so I've settled on at least finishing one picture. I did look through my artwork folder and found this as one "Work-In-Progress" image. It's been sitting there for at least a year, so I quickly made it within a day and boom, here it is.
EXPLANATION (cause with me, it's always necessary): This image is a combination of Unlimited Saga, one of my favorite games ever, with Cromartie Highschool, an anime I quite like. To be specific, this scene:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZdmjPsD-FI#t=1m30s
Why? Why did this deranged madman decide to do such a combination?! Because Musol Yanii, my favorite character in the game, is voiced by Jay Hickman, my favorite voiceactor, and in Cromartie High School he voices Mechazawa. So this was the idea: Laura and Henri are basically kind of stand-ins for Takiyama and Hayashisa, Musol Yanii stands for Mechazawa, and Anzan&Armic are classmates of Mechazawa.
So... I posted a fanart that refers to an obscure and widely hated video game and combined it with an anime that I'm quite certain not everybody liked or watched.... and even then, a lot of people probably didn't watch the English dub which is the only link between the game and the anime. Oh and also, this image looks incredibly poor in quality as it was quickly put together.
Did I honestly expect any comments on this? The answer is "no". I expect this image to be ignored, forgotten and left behind. I just thought this idea was too great to leave behind not finished.... which is probably really stupid of me.
Eitherway, this is it. Feel SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAME for me!
Original character design @ Yusuke Naora
Dialogue and inspirational manga/anime @ Cromartie High School which was drawn/written by Eiji Nonaka

Ehhh I'm basically a nerd. Whenever I try to talk with those who are considered "normal", I get laughed at or mean looks. I always have to stay in a lonely corner and only talk to a select few to not get anyone angry at me.
This is why I say it: Society has been set a specific way to be like, a way that I'm not, which is why society hates me. In return however, as you've stated, I don't feel like I must fit-in, I instead feel like I hate the society in return now too. Heck I hate my entire home country and wish to leave it as soon as possible and live in Germany where I shall have friends who understand me. I might even go as far as make Poland exlode in my comic.... REVENGEEEEEE!!!!!

Not sure this is just Poland, maybe I'd be treated like this in every school all over the world. I'm a freak, I'm an outsider. It might just wear on my psyche so hard, because this is what my life's been all this time.
Back when I visited my best friend
Kumbartha it was an incredible experience. Whatever I said, whatever stupid shit I uttered, things which would give me stares, had me be made fun of....... he just understood everything and we had real conversations! Just thinking about that wonderful moment makes me want to cry.

Yes. I hear many people get annoyed by 90s cartoons and their clichees:
The unpopular kid who's bullied by the popular kid.
However I always just raise an eyebrow at that:
" Are you saying that's not happening anymore? That there aren't thousands of ways to show it? Are you saying these stories leave you cold now? Well sorry, they don't do that to me. They seem like stories of my own life. Being the outsider that's made fun of is the basic thing I can say about my entire school life, even here in college."
