Hmmm.... Lambert's Earth power is effective on fire types.... And Zen Headbutt is a decently good move... but then again.... Procyon's Flare Blitz and Fire Blast are both powerful and strong against Lambert... not to mention Extreme Speed is basicaly a 100% first hit... Hmmm....

Well... Uh. This is actually a good match, unlike the complete blowouts much of the rest of the tournament has been.

IN ANY CASE, this match has a strong argument to go either way, based on a single 60% chance.
Sky Shamin is faster than Arcanine by ~32 points in SPD, so he gets to go first. However, this leads to one of two situations:
Happens 60% of the time:
Lambert: Air Slash with 60% Flinch proc (after doubling thanks to Serene Grace)
Procyon: Flinch
Lambert: Earth Power, collect win.
Happens 40% of the time:
Lambert: Air Slash
Procyon: Flare Blitz OHKO, collect win.
Based on those numbers alone, I'm going to have to vote Lambert, but I could be swayed either way, even to single HP arguments.

I know it looks like fire would win easily. But I am paying attention to the environment. And a lot of fire means a lot of melted ice. And that equals water. Not good for a fire pup. I don't know if this all follows game mechanics instead of logic, but am I the only one that noticed they are standing atop of a frozen river that would weaken and melt when exposed to a lot of heat?
