Nicely done. Details are awesome. Maybe only the shadowy figures are too shadowy (compared to the rest of the stuff), but it's the Thief player in me -- that game sure teaches you to understand shadows ;)

... Also, I can't help but wonder, what's the backstory :)

Nope, I agree, the shadows are so shadowy black, I was, man i need to add color and people and oh no.. and had to stop myself from doing so.

And hrm, thief now sounds interesting, and omgoness I won't be able to see.

Because I hate when the settings are so dark in games that on it's own, it's impossible to see where they are shooting or trying to kill you from! XD

Oh, Thief is not that :) It is medieval, and you need shadows to hide in them so THEY don't see you :)

It is not the first stealth game, but the one that has defined the genre and got a "first person sneaker" name tag.
