Yes, I'm aware it's not Christmas at the time I uploaded this.
Yes, I'm aware it's spring and not winter as of when I uploaded this.
Yes, I'm aware this picture is three years old.
LET'S NOT POINT OUT THE OBVIOUS. I just wanted to dump this into my gallery now rather than post it during close to this year's Christmas and get called out on being three years too late.
If anything, I may be doing you a favor. Considering all the hot weather we're getting this spring, I figured one cool drawing wouldn't hurt, right?
Here is a nice picture I drew close to Christmas back in 2010. I enjoy the expressions of both Leo and Leona; they seem joyful, spirited, and happy to be together posing for what appears to be a Christmas card. I feel that the Christmas star - along with the shooting star in the background - gives this picture that nice holiday touch.
This was a complicated picutre for me to draw. For starters, it was hard mapping out the placement of the arms and paws over the shoulders. I was lazy in terms of detail and didn't attempt drawing actual fingers. Also drawing the outlines of Leona's chest got a bit out of hand after trying to write the Japanese message on her sweater prompting me to just make it look like a band around her making her not stand out as much.
Looking at the detail in this picture makes me want to start learning how to draw. I mean I want to know how to draw well. I mean, jeez, anybody can draw stars like that, and basic colour templates and shading can only take a furry artist so far before viewers get overwhelmingly bored.
Maybe I'm being too hard on myself.
