Don't punish people for trying something new and not immediately becoming some kind of prodigy.

Regardless of where she got it, it's still rude as hell to tell someone their costume is embarrassing and make them feel shitty for owning it.
Don't get me wrong, it's okay to laugh at funny looking costumes in private, but when it comes down to it, it's nobody's place to tell someone else what they can and can't do for fun.

it's not a furry thing, it's a being a decent human being thing. i think it would be more constructive to say, "hey blu, i think your suit needs some work before you wear it out in public, have you checked out these tutorials/spoken to such and such about a refurbish/thought about retiring it and getting a new head?"
i guess i'm just not cool, i don't see the fun in hurting a 15 year old child who is having fun with her silly costume.
