Pink and orange go fabulous together!

I'm curious about the line of butterfly wings which aren't attached to any butterflies, and the butterfly the Fox appears to have screwed up in his fist. That adds a sinister tone in my view.

Asside from this, pink and orange are indeed lovely.

Nevertheless, this piece indeed has a very poetic appearance, as well as in its coulouring as thanks to the facial expression of the fox making his thoughts a mystery.
Is it dawn and he catches his first butterflies being inexperienced? Or is it, as the first poster said maybe sundown, and the butterflies life has had to come to an end one way or another? Who will ever know...

And yes, who knows? I don't want to destroy the viewer's vision of this piece with my own interpretation and intentions, so I better keep my mouth shut. ^^

Well, you can try to ask someone you know who attends MMC or Confuzzled to bid for you, but aside from that ... :/ However, after Cfz is over (around the beginning of June) I will put up a journal, offering the "left-overs" for sale. Maybe this one and/or Spotlight will be among those pieces (though I can't guarantee that). :)
I could also offer you DIN A4 prints if both originals do sell.

Got back from MMC yesterday evening. This piece as well as Spotlight were both being sold at the art show there, sorry. :/

He wants to be the only critter that's orange & black so he's eliminating the competition, lol.

Nice image. It seems to sum up a duality of freedom & restriction IMHO. Nice composition tho.
