The water is rising. Little wings aren't enough.

This is the mostly flat-color image. I wanted to share it because  ithunna felt it looked better if only the woofle was shaded, and no more detail was put into the background. I feel that a background is necessary for this image, and I want the practice digitally rending backgrounds! ^^ Also, I want more practice rending water.

Don't worry, woofle's can swim, it just takes six weeks for that tail to dry.

I don't have much time still, but I need to stay in practice. I don't want to atrophy completely away. I am gona soon be trying a new means of line-work intended for coloring similar to some other styles I observe when time allows. I won't change completely, but my hard lines are a bit out of touch. My background will espouse the new style, I think.
