This was a mask that I was originally just using as a test, but I got some good responses from it, so I took nice photos and posted it up for sale.
It's un-dyed leather (though it is sealed with a matte finish). The scales on the eyebrows are all individually shaped and then attached onto the mask with nickel-plated rivets. It reminds me of a kind of urban-modern fairy ethos, though I can't really say why. Funny how my process tends to start with an abstract formal idea, then over time I get an impression of what themes it reminds me of.
