But holy crap, at least with invoices nobody can send weird notes with their payments saying "HOT DOG DICK ART" :V
I just hear from artist buddies that FA is blacklisted there
So if PayPal finds out they could just freeze your account
Along with whatever money you had sitting in there :U I guess
They do it with charity donations all the time. "Freezing" the assets until they get bad press over it, then releasing all but a chunk of it (Say 500k was raised, paypal might keep 5k)
It's racketeering plain and simple, and they get away with it because they're not a federally regulated bank and are not backed or insured by the FDIC.
Short story: Don't treat paypal like a bank. Use it to transfer money, but don't keep a balance if you care about losing it.

Because I control how much info is in the invoice
I can control over what info is displaying and not giving the buyer the chance to say "MONEY FOR THAT BUTT PORN"
If I lose my PayPal account over that, it really is my fault :V
Because PayPal goes, "Goods, eh? Guess the seller will need the client's shipping address for a shipping label!"

I think I might do this right now, as someone owes me a commission payment and said their payday was May 2nd. ^^;
EXAMPLE: "its that simple," does "it is that simple" make sense? Yes! Add an apostrophe!
"the dog likes it's chewtoy" does "the dog likes it is chewtoy" make sense? No! Remove apostrophe!
Also, I hope every artist ever sees this. This should go on Reddit and everywhere.
