For DeNovember VIA the Fantasy Xchange. Her anthro badger character, Gavin Holmes. The theme for this month was "Fandoms", where our chosen's character had to be drawn in the style of, cosplaying, or in the world of the fandom of their choosing. DeNovember wanted this character drawn as Firo Prochainezo from Baccano.

Oh lordy-lordy, I'm going to be 100% honest. Out of everyone participating in this month's exchange, I was probably the worst person to be assigned to draw this theme. Anyone that knows me knows that I'm not much for anime. at all (the exceptions to this being Hellsing and most of Miyuzaki's movies), so I was not at all familiar with this series. I tried to watch a few clips of the show on YouTube to familiarize myself with it, but I had no clue what I had just watched apart from it being set in the 1930s and there being lots of trains. I'm sure it's a good show if you're into that sort of thing, but anime really isn't my cup of tea.

In any case, I am a fan of 1930s fashion, so that's what I tried to go with, so I hope it turned out somewhat okay. >_<
