Sadly I only sold 7 items at this little con, but on the bright side I now know what stock to bring in the future to furcons and I have more inventory for Fanime in a few weeks :)

It was nice to see a fellow plush maker at BLFC!
I told my husband that you could defiantly do a table at a con with crafts, and with you being there proved me right. Lol.
I adored your crafts though, and its inspired me to perhaps look into doing a table sometime to sell premade plushies of mine. ^^

it's definitely more challenging to sell plushies than to sell say, buttons or prints at cons. So much work goes into one thing that I can't copy with a simply click of the mouse... and a lot of con goers like those things cause they are small and cheap, and plushies are certainly none of those. Unfortunately I just didn't make the right kind of animals for a furcon, but now I know what to do for my future furry cons! Usually my stuff is really popular at anime/comic cons.
Your little wolf plushies would sell great I'm sure! I'm working on some prototype fox/wolf patterns currently.

That's true, as a plush maker I know how much time and money can go into making those little guys, but I have so much faux fur sitting around I've been dying to use but never get a chance due to commissions. I dunno if I would ever be able to do a table at a con though, even though I do things that would fit with a furcon, but since I handsew everything I fear I wouldn't get enough products done in time. Lol.
I'm sorry to hear you didn't do well though, because I think your stuff is still darling though, and I should have bought something, because I love unique plushies, and yours is just that, unique and different. How about yours tails? They were fantastically made! I'm sure those would have had to sell pretty well, since well its a furcon. But yeah, my main commission base is for wolves and foxes, along with some hybrid type animals at times (rarely though, just mainly canines). But thank you for the compliment on my plushies. ^^

Only sold one tail sadly lol... I don't think a tail sale on Etsy during that weekend counts. But I had made and bought those to play around with them, seeing how well they would sell and so far I know they are popular! I get more people searching for tails than plushies it seems now. But yeah, cons will always be lead by print/button makers. At least I don't have as much competition as they do!
That's a shame though, but I can understand since plushies due to the time and money put into them are a little more expensive and people tend to want plushies of their own characters rather than premades. But yeah, you defiantly have less competition being a plush maker. Still a shame you didn't do well; But thank you for telling me, I guess I will just stick to maybe making business cards to give out than to possibly not do well at a table.
