This was a photo op I had years back, before I cut my hair off and retired the metal look for personal reasons. This shot would have been used for a band picture, but my last project had collapsed a while before this was taken.

I never quite understood why are employers demanding such strict rules of clothing and style in general. I don't think you looked unprofessional or like, bad wearing long hair - it's not like you had piercings and tattoos on spots that are visible, or untidy clothes! I never really changed my style when I started to work, and I work with either children or I sing in choirs and ensembles that require to go to theater or opera house. I always kept the style here and there as much as I could!
That's something else!
I had huge, like huuuge hair almost whole my life. Wherever I'd go, you'd first see hair and then me. XD Ok, I guess being a gal that is not that uncommon. But it was huuuuge. XD After I had some bad situations going on in my life, I also just wanted to change my own image and cut it short, and I am wearing it short ever since! I must say I really liked stepping out of the stereotype of metal chicks having long red hair and all looking the same! :D
