
Trying out different shading techniques I've seen done. Feedback would be welcomed, but keep in mind this is about the shading, not the shaky lookin lines. In all actuality? there's only about 7 lines in this, so the edges are rough and I apologize, that's just how the selection went.

Hmmm... on the red, the purplish shade you used looks a bit like bruising. Perhaps using a darker shade of red next time?
Other than that, I like it. I like the eye and my only other thought would be putting it in more decisive areas, such as with the ear. It's hard to tell where the light is coming from there.
It does look good overall though, don't doubt that.

You know the funny part? I didn't use any red lol. the effect of purple was intended dear (you nailed it, "looks a bit like bruising")
