definitely one of the best scenes in Fantasia :), wish they made more animated features like it :(

But there's not much of a demand for an all orchestral animated movie, it's all bright colors, fast dialogue and whatever recording artist they can pick up for the soundtrack. :(

mmm, yeah it is. I think the art of animation is dying a bit, with things like MLP coming out full of pop culture references and songs that sound like reject Disney songs.

As long as animation is seen as something geared for children only, that may happen. Or, you know, hope that better writers can come along.

I think new writers are going to be the ones to change it. Hopefully they'll get inspiration from old classics like Gargoyles that have no pop culture or shrieking characters.

Shrieking characters can be acceptable, if done correctly like Animaniacs or Tiny Toon Adventures.

well technically I think those characters shout, and its funny because of what they're saying.

Something like MLP is shrieking because its not done in a funny way and it just sounds annoying. :p

Epic awesome guy, he is actually a true classic bara Disney character and a bi-homosexual perhaps indeed (the scenes when he starts transforming creatures into different forms starts with the dancing flame nude ladies but at the very climax of the short segment, he gots kinda very aroused and pleased when they become a kind of blue male satyr-like creatures that could be seen only from back side, so at the end he likes more his creations being males than females!
