I got the second one of these made. This time I dyed the leather after soaking it and forming it into shape, and the color stayed much better. You can see the deeper consistent green color of the one on the left compared to the more faded one on the right.
And it's up for sale on Etsy! www.etsy.com/listing/150466982/drag.....scaled-leather-bracers More photos are also there. As people order them in specific colors I expect there will be more versions to show. I'd love to get some shots of these in red, so here's hoping someone orders that.
Having timed myself making the recent one, I think I may have to raise the price a bit to account for it taking longer than I had previously expected. I'll keep the price as it is for a couple weeks, though, so act now if you like them.

It may be a little difficult to sell these at the price listed. I've seen very similar pieces in 13 oz leather selling at $60 for a pair, and in the 7-8 oz you have it listed at was selling even lower. And these were hand made as well, although made with a hand punch requiring a mallet, so I assume they took longer.
Just be careful about over pricing your products.

I've seen simpler designs selling for that sort of price, but when I was pricing these I did a lot of looking around at similar products, and this seems to be a common price range for designs of this complexity. The weight of the leather isn't that much of a factor in determining the price.
Honestly, I'm more worried about under-pricing my products and under-valuing my time. Having timed myself making the newer one, my estimation is that a pair will take 4 or 5 hours of pretty efficient work (not counting an over-night wait for the leather to dry before being dyed). After also accounting for material cost, these are currently priced lower than they would be if I used my formula for pricing chainmail.

I just noticed how the bracelets (?) look like Miiraks gloves... would be great for cosplay if you referved the direction o3o
