This is a commission for
, who asked for a Mewtwo as a Blackjack dealer, who had dealt an Ace and a King card to the player (both of which have Mewtwo on them). I know next to nothing about Blackjack, so this was a rather difficult commission, but I think I pulled it off in the end.
I'm slowly getting better at drawing Mewtwo, haha. He's a cool Pokémon, but one of the more difficult ones to draw, sadly.
Enjoy!

...jesus fucking christ you manage to take even the faintest description of the scene and turn it into EXACTLY what I want.
This is going up on the Codex right the fuck now.
Thank you so much for this and thank you for dealing with the particular nitpicky detail on the table text!

Bullshit. You've been epic at drawing Mewtwo for a long, long time, and this is why I knew I wanted so very much to have you do the commissions you've done for me. It's honestly an honor and a privelege to include you as one of the artists that has done a piece for the Codex.

I just noticed something else you did, though I'm not sure it's intentional.
Not counting the blue chip that's off to the side - red and green chips have pre-set values in most all casinos. Green are 25, and Red are 5. Two red and two green make 60; blackjacks pay 3 to 2, so the player is paid 90...totaling 150. Mewtwo's pokedex number.
Again, I'm not sure if you PLANNED that but it's another little nice touch.

Nice pic, but being a bit of a casino hustler I've noticed something
The dealer has no cards :P
There should be two pairs of cards: One close to the dealer (with one card shown and one card facedown), and one close to the player.
Sorta does matter, cause if dealer ALSO has blackjack, it counts as a push - and the player gets his initial bet back, rather than winning.
Sorry if I'm being silly :P I go to casinos alot.

I should have thought about that but honestly I asked Delt to do so many things on this commission I didn't want to be any more of a pain in the ass than I already was.
(It's also technically possible that Mewtwo as the dealer would have scooped and discarded his cards after having checked for blackjack already and finding he did not have it as well, putting the player's cards in the discard last. Trust me, I know what it's like to be a BJ snob, since I was so specific about this being an S17 table!)
