Creature One: Gryphon
So my friends and I are doing a little challenge over the summer, ever week we are to design a new creature. We are given a new type every week, and week one was Gryphon.
I wanted to do something a little different with my gryphon then your typical “eagle and lion” so I went with a bearded vulture as my main reference.
I love the colors, I pulled right off the bird himself and used them for my pallet and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Kinda sad this took me forever to get to work on, the pose is kinda lame and I didn’t have time to make an Anthro version of him, so that might come later. As of right now I am pleased though.
