I'm in North Carolina. I would assume that it's legal here, but I'll check that out.

well I do know people do keep these little guys as pets, which I would love to get, ^v^ it's almost like having a cat, except its a canine and not a feline, also Fennecs are not native to america so you need not worry, plus their being bred in captivity specifically for the pet trade, I have also heard of a russian project that aims at domesticating the red fox, they have already successfully domesticated a few of these delightful creatures, but still have a long way to go.
