I live by SAI. It's abandonware, though, so if you have any kind of geekery pride, I'd advise accidentally acquiring a copy.

Also, I love this picture. These two need more rep!

I've actually got SAI and use it on a lotta my stuff. It's just that openCanvas has the group drawing function which can be fun. Its just very finnicky and kind of the only game in town though, as far as that is concerned.

You can thank patents for that. The concept of collaborative drawing has suffered terribly for about 15 years because the patent holder is sitting on it until a software dev is willing to bite the bullet and pay them for the rights to use it in a profit-based application. When OpenCanvas went for a profit they had to remove all of the networked arting capabilities beforehand or suffer the wrath of patent trolling. It's also why Adobe hasn't touched the concept with a ten foot pole.
