Even better: when the other artist removes you from their watchlist and continues to post stuff that was obviously done after the trade was declared.
I've started to indicate in submission titles when they are trades (including the artist's name/handle), and list whether the trade was completed as part of the description.
I dunno about everyone else, but my track record for producing art once entering into a trade is 100% and as a bonus, I won't post anything else till my half is done (unless I had more than one trade going at once, a situation I have yet to experience)
Still, nice pic. The character design reminds me of another accomplished artist whose name escapes me at the moment.

I never actually left the trade game--I just didn't solicit them. Most of the time I'd look to see who's soliciting them, and if I liked their characters, then I'd come out of hiding and indicate an interest.
