Late, but worth noting:
Someone actually tried the 'recipe' that was used in the episode, only substituting gummy worms for real ones. Apparently they tasted fine, but collapsed because they had no structure. A later attempt replacing, IIRC, 1/3 of the chips with flour was successful.
