Here is a closeup of the lid i remade for the teapot that was made by the wonderful 
dingbat It was made too small and ended up falling into the teapot, so i took a ceramics course to redo it, and here is the result! See the previous image to view it on the teapot. It is a hair large, but it sits securely and seals in the heat and steam properly now.
