A manticore from my story. Manticores have poisonous quills that cover their entire neck, back, and make up most of their tail. While the poison that these quills emits is not particularly deadly (unless dealt in high doses), it is fast-acting and has hallucinogenic qualities. In some societies, it is even used as a popular, but often illegal, drug.
The prick of a manticore quill is nearly painless. Most victims aren’t even aware that they have been pricked when the powerful hallucinations settle in.
Once drugged, a manticore will make an easy meal out of their victim.
I was too lazy to google quills before drawing them so the spines p much just look like dark brown fur eh :I
"Guilt" and its creature specifics belong to me.
Drawn on SAI.
