Was inspired to make an odd critter.. I rather like him. His tail opens at the end and has three "fingers" and can grip onto things.

it's a pokemon with a 'hand' at the end of it's tail. Me I was more reminded of this one river creature that somebody did a picture of, I can't remember what it's called though.

No, it would be too fuzzy. The tail is prehensile though, so he can hold himself up with it or wrap around things.
