The Horse, the Wolf, and the Oats
A collaborative piece between Thornwolf and myself - she sketched the image and I painted it.
A wolf, rambling through a field of oats, meets a horse. “Look,” says the wolf, “Here is a fine field of oats, which I have saved just for you. I shall greatly enjoy the thought of such a fine friend enjoying such a fine feast.” The horse replied, “If wolves could eat oats, my fine friend, you would not have indulged your mind at the cost of your belly.”
There is no virtue in giving away what is useless to oneself.

excellent work... The flow of the peice is phenominal, color fits well, however the balance I feel is a little off, but not by much. The coloring of the teeth on the horse, purely amazing, not many actually get that kinda detail to the T. I applaud both of you for your excellent work and effort.
