Just wanted to draw some heavy armor...

With the changes in the war between Heaven and Hell a new kind of Angel were created. The souls that were sent to Purgatory were given a new chance for redemption through service in the army of Heaven. Granted some of the powers of an Angel (holy blessing, agelessness, enhanced strength and speed and moderate healing) but not granted immortality or all of God's blessings they are much more at risk then the full fledged Angels. Those who serve faithfully and survive long enough will be granted full honors as full fledged Angels.
