Another commission for Arania, this time of her lovely character, Sabin Duvert; a shadowmancer possessed by a shadowy creature called an "Anju". Smoke effects are so fun to paint!

Aw, thank you! I love painting humans, I sometimes wish there was a greater demand for them. But I enjoy painting anthros and animals just as much, so I'm happy no matter what! XD

Shadowmancer, also known as Umbramancer or Tenebromancer. Or even Necromancer if you read the Skulduggery Pleasent stories.
It's so awesome a discipline, it has 4 different names.

Smoke totally is fun to paint.

I love his hands and feet... those sharpened nails are super cool, and the detail put into showing that they were in fact humanesque fingernails is badass... love the little crescent at the backs and such.

His design is neat. <3

I like how the title of this image is "Sinister" and he's conjuring shadows with his left hand. For those who don't know; sinister means left-handed.
