Ororo ended up being my favorite super-hero, although she was rarely handled well. Marvel etc seemed to have real problems with strong female characters. Yes this is just a sexy chibi, no disrespect intended, but Ororo in the early stories tres cool - a homeless kid in Africa who becomes a wind goddess to the locals, then is recruited to the x-men but doesn't go along with any of the usual super-hero mentality...ends up being their leader...

The X-Men movies totally glossed her over. She was like Wonder Woman with brains, experience, and compassion...
something too much to fit into the smash and destroy long-underwear comics ( - or dumber movies........)

And she was also sexy....go figure...

So this was a little tribute to her hotness...there isn't any tribute to how they failed to follow through on her personality...maybe someday some writer will do right by her...
