“Tonight I’m gonna bury that horse in the ground.”
The song “Shake it Out” always made me think of Heather and I wanted to do some nice uplifting art for it, but then it turned out a little ominous-looking.

I dunno, it really doesn't look ominous to me. To me, it represents letting go the hurts of the past, as represented by the hook and sword. As for the carousel horse, it looks healed and the umbilical lines make me thing of rebirth, a new start, which is matched by Heather, having left the darkness behind, facing the dawn of a new day (and possibly a brighter future).

I think it just comes off ominous to me because themes of childbirth and the womb are a very negative thing in the SH universe, and the idea of the horse being something buried but still alive and growing, waiting to be born again smacks more of letting a problem fester rather than solving it and moving on. But your interpretation is valid too! XD I'm glad you like it!
