Today Jenny was called into a special meeting with her teachers, school dean, and the school psychiatrist. They had to do an evaluation of her and they did not give her news that she wanted to hear. They basically said that if she does not straighten up and get her life together, she will be sent to a state insane asylum when she turns 21. Thats only 3 years away and she does not know how to change her life since she really never could figure out what she was doing wrong! This news just keeps bother her, now keeping her from sleeping. Jenny is truly frightened about this because she does not want to spend her life wrapped up in a straitjacket and being treated like a true crazy person. Sure they treated her as a psychiatric case here at the school but after a few days in solitary confinement, she is released to go back to school and do whatever. If she is committed to a state asylum, she will never be released. Instead forced to spend everyday hugging herself and talking to herself, slowly becoming crazy. For now she is safe at the school, but once she is 21 she will leave the school; either to live a normal life OR a live in an insane asylum.

Jenny is an orphan right!? I have an idea!? *Comes to Jenny's Boarding school and offers to adopt her as his daughter!* I will not allow suck abominable vision of the future to come true! To freedom Jenny shall rise!! I have an adopted son named Kavinika H. P. Raivaitidax and he's a Arctic Fox/Werefox Hybrid! Like his real parents, he can control ice and transform without the need of the fool moon just like his real father! You will also have 2 sisters! They're names are Jennifer Karzahni Raivaitidax! (She's a Crux!) and Jilleena Malum Raivaitidax! (She's a Sergal)! You can have a far better future!
Poor Jenny. If I were in her place, I think I'd be sorely tempted to slip away in the dead of night sometime and run like hell. I'm not sure what sort of school she goes to that the administration thinks they have this sort of power, but it's no place for a sweet young lady like her!

It has crossed her mind, and if she did, she would have to make sure she NEVER got caught. If she was caught running away her life would truly be a living hell then. Since she is an orphan she doesn't have any rights, and since the school has a special understanding with the state, she would committed very easily to an asylum. It's sad really.
And yes, I'm a huge fan of Zoey's work! She has always impressed me with her talents.

yes they would just to check on some progression of her status, but the school's psychiatrist would have already have everything necessary to have her fully committed. plus it doesn't help knowing that the school's psychiatrist is also the same psychiatrist that works at the asylum
So it still remains and unexplained issue...or possibly misunderstood.
(Tho officially, the term we used was treatment team, and the issues are specifically discussed. I worked at a psych residential/school facility for kids for last couple of years. There were some kids who really did want to change and get out while others were quite content on purposely doing the same ol thing that got them there to begin with. But we were no longer allowed to use mechanical restraints, and stupidly keep trying to get away from even placing hands on, but thats another story/rant anyways. )

I kinda have that lingering fear because I have aspergers syndrome and there is always gonna be that uneducated idiot who thinks I'm mentally ill but I'm healthy when it comes to my condition

Wow this is just truly heart wrenching. I kinda know how she feels (mental hospital 8 times in 9 years for hearing voices, hallucinations, and explosive anger), so I feels ;n; Why exactly is she on the verge of being committed, forgive me for asking.

I just found your page today, but I really like Jenny. The nominally modest schoolgirl-style outfits drew me in, and I especially like them when combined with strict environments with harsh and arbitrary punishments and no escape. Straightjackets and diapers, I can take them or leave them, but in her circumstances they make sense. This piece, the text is why I favorited it here and not on the artist's page as per my usual modus operandi. Where there's the prospect that she might never be allowed to get away... mmm. Poor girl. I can't shake the sense that the very awareness of that prospect will make it even harder for her to mentally break free, thereby becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy.

First off, thank you. I always try to include a strong story with my pics, and ever since this character was created there has always been this story going on. And hearing that you have enjoyed this pic more because of the story, than the artist's rendering truly means a lot to me.

Yeah, I just found that one. That does explain a good bit. Branded as insane because she refuses to fit into their cookie cutter, and treated as insane because she's labeled insane and thus begins a vicious cycle. After a while it seems like they're deliberately fucking with her though, just because. But hey, who cares? She's just an orphan.

Sanity does not exist, Only perspectives of normal and abnormal, each being is insane in their own forms, but like ants one mind is all it takes, and thus they cast it from the hive to fend for itself...

That would be correct, plus there are a few other small things why she is "insane." And yes there have been a few others over the years. And it hasn't been shut down because 1. this school has a special arrangement with the state, and 2. they are a separate entity and they have special privelages that make them immune to most laws. And surprisingly they have had a lawsuit or two but nothing was ever able to come out of them.
*Has come up with the ultimate plan for switching Jenny! Hope! Mt. Hope will soon be known as Mt. Destral and an age of shadow will fall upon Teridax's new Kingdom to rule in exile! And don't worry! This is the only place that Teridax is allowed to rule over! That is part of the deal we made and can never break this deal under fear of being destroyed by the Order of Mata Nui! Those who have suffered at Mt. Hope will be free at last from it's diabolical horrors and it's asylum!
