Trace was a wolfhog who was in an adopted home (the Fallfield family).
Al never saw Trace as being adopted, she was his younger sister, nothing else mattered aside from that. as time passed Trace got mutated from wolfhog to Foxdog but Al didn't care, Trace was still his little sister.
Al is also the male character to have never let Trace down through her twenty and a half years.
