See, these are sprites of a species of mine called Faroxes.
What is a farox? Well, the body shape is shown here. Each farox has a gemstone it is born with at the tip of it's tail. As they age, the crystal grows and a new one is grown over a four year span until they have three at the tips. They are a species that makes nests up in crystal sylvian tree tops, keeping to the forest floor to hunt for larger game. Ther fur is pigmented in their manes and tips of their ears with the gems, and their claws and teeth are comprised of these gems.
These are shown in anthro version.
I couldn't just settle with one color. I had to do all the rainbow. Because I can never get enough color. x3
Purple: Amethyst
Indigo: Tanzanite
Blue: Sapphire
Green: Emerald
Yellow: Citrine
Orange: Cachemirine garnet
Red: Almandine garnet
Pink: Morganite
I will be spriting other species of mine that I have in my head. ^^
