Heres to some good old fashioned fat- tuesday inspired art :)
I really love creole folk lore and tradition :) I really need to visit the festivals down south at some point :) hehe well I do turn 21 this year :P heh, well, Im really happy with how this turned out, even though my scanner took away alittle bit of the color :( But its done in Prisma markers so yeah :)

I like this...I like how the entire picture is filled with lots of detail. I like how the beads are wrapped all around the alligator, and how every little bit of the piece has color. Also, speaking of color, you did very well with the soft shading on the alligator, which I know isn't the easiest thing to do with Prismacolor markers. But you pulled it off here.

I really dig the colors here, and the feeling of motion you created. Very nice work! I love how the beads kinda swirl to the right there, and the big wide open gator maw is awesome =D
Incidentally, this reminds me a bit of King Gator from "All Dog's Go to Heaven". But your king (queen?) looks significantly more regal...if, y'know, that doesn't sound too weird XD
