"Even though fire element is the easiest in training for trainee magicians, it's prove to be the hardest to master in many parts. Difficulty varies from creating the flame from empty air, to control it so it won't overwhelm the surrounding. Thermomancers are the wizards who let themselves deep into the alluring heat of the blazing ignition. Adept more than just controlling, but to know its origin. They handle heat like their child, dancing while being engulfed by the fire. Be burnt, just their words, and be extinguished, just their command.

A series I made myself which is about the many type of mages and spell user that are overall across the fantasy world. The characters provided in this series use magic as their main way of living, fighting, or surviving. I tried to break free from the traditional wizard type, like elementalist or sorcerer, though.
Niena is one of my favorite characters to draw. She is the only feline girl involving in the fantasy of my mind. Hot head like her favorite magic, she's very intelligence and cunning. Her mastery in fire magic is also effected by her pyrokinesis she had when she's just a cub, making the only things she need to learn is just controlling the fire instead of starting them like other students.

I thought a lot about that stuff last night, and the elements and junk for the characters.
Lauren is fire dominate and earth recessive.
Nina is fire dominate and fire recessive.
Airache is wind dominate and earth recessive.
Fern is wind dominate and fire recessive.
Luchie is Light dominate cause of Azzure, but naturally wind dominate water recessive.
Luchie's father is Water pure
Lauren's first daughter (By Fern) the dark goddess, is actually fire dominate, earth recessive
Lauren first son, (By Airache only child she has) is earth dominate, unkown recessive.
Lauren's two younger daughters (Nina in this pic is soon to be prego again in like a year) are both fire dominate, one is earth recessive.
The bunny chick, (I suck with names...) is actually water dominate wind recessive.
The Oxen guy is earth dominate, but can't be told is he is water recessive.
The scheme behind which magics are dominate and recessive depends on the Furs breeding, gender of the child, and which elements the parents were
Wolves 40% fire 30% water 30% wind
Foxes 50% wind 30% fire 20% water
Cats 70% fire 30% wind
Horses 70% earth 25% water 5% fire
So say Luchie and airache had a cub (Luchie's worst nightmare come t pass) Then they would most bare only wind types. Same with Lauren and Nina only fire types.
But if the Oxen and bunny girl settle down and have 4 children, 3 of them would be water masters if they were boys, and one girl would be like airache with wind dominate and earth recessive.
so it's all relative. I actually feel better now that I've ranted...
