Hm.... An interesting conflict caused by what earlier seemed like godsend. Though it ignores some physics, it otherwise seems very realistic. I can imagine the government of today talking like the characters do in this story. The ending seemed like pure irony to me, as teachers seem so longwinded to me, and the teacher just uses the events of the past to make an essay, which leaves the reader to guess what happens.
