Alright, so we had this project in English about us having to choose one scene or quote from the Odyssey by Homer and draw it on a poster board. I chose a quote:
"When rosy-fingered Dawn made the new day-light, my companions and I set forth once more upon our journey."

They're personifying Dawn as a person, and drew out this 'person.' :3 She's holding a mask that symbolizes the sun. We all know that Helios is the God of the sun, yes? Well what I made up is that Helios has two daughters, Dawn & Dusk. :3 Thats Dawn, my little goddess. <3 I dunno why but I made her look a little elfish. x3 In the corner is a ship, Odysses' ship sailing off. >D

Obviously the poster board is waaaaaay too big for to to scan, so I took a pic with my mom's webcam in the living room.. Sorry if the quality isn't the best. D: The grey stuff on the top-right is the carpet cuz I put it on the floor to keep it flat. D:

I used Colored Pencils & crayons (just the shirt I think) and it took my about 6 and a half hours. XD
