haha, well you were right about the elves. The one between them is a Hobgoblin, and the one on the left, and down in front are both half orcs (Exactly the same half orc, actually). The one on the right is a halfling monk.

'fraid not. I play with people I work with, so I didn't have to look very far. Check out your local game store if you've got one, I had a great year playing D&D with some regulars from the comic shop.

Last I checked they were making an online version of D&D with the newest expansion. Check the official site, it might actually be out now.

As far as I can tell, DnD fourth edition is a travesty, and blasphemous.

Basically imagine dungeons and dragons without any flavour; everything is pandered towards building and maximizing the fighting potential of your character. It's likely that I'm reading reviews written by naysayers though, so who knows.

The game itself has no character, it's dependent entirely on who you're playing it with. I'm going to give it a shot, and I'll find a way to make it fun :)

This is the essence of D&D. The GM even with his ability to bend or break the rules has a great responsibility to emulate the social interactions of non-player characters with the characters/ make the dungeons/ balance the baddies/ enforce the rules.....

and all of that has been well defined (sometimes by being not so well defined) and doesn't need improvement because it doesn't deal heavily with logistics.
