
This is a part of a video game in progress, each segment of body is its own health armor and shield bar. Similar to that of Battletech the more damage to an area the less useful that area will become. Shielding is also based on the area being damaged (Due to the game weapons being amusingly powerful its best to stay in motion to spread out the damage received in hopes your shield can take the brunt of it). This also means one can use better shields in the areas one is damaged the most, or rely on heavier armor/special parts such as shield arms or simply slimmer armor in hopes the bullets/projectiles miss entirely. All in all the weapons are intended to shred powered suits so such an in depth look at your damage might be interesting
