Description

Maria is James’ mate. She can get a bit bossy when she’s in charge of the crew but she’s mortally quite fun to have around. She often gets the crew betting on how many shellfish she can fit in her mouth or how many fish shy can kill with a single fart when swimming.

An odd Love Story:
One day when James was exploring for a lost Aztec treasure in Mexico he came across the most beautifully plump otter he’d ever seen. She was bathing in a pool near the bay and eating clams. He went over to talk to her and she gladly joined in. After telling her about his guild she smiled, let out a big fart into the water and handed him a dead fish. Then she rubbed her nose against his and asked him if he wanted to join her in the pool. He nodded and jumped in, and they had lots of fun eating clams and fish and playing games. Then she told him her story about how she got separated from her parents in a storm and eventually found herself there in Mexico. James offered to let her join his guild and she said she’d love to.

James didn’t find the treasure he was looking for but instead he found a far greater one. Love.
